• A crack is longer than 40mm anywhere on the screen
• Damage is in or near the driver’s primary vision zone (zone A)
• The chip or crack is at the edge of the glass, compromising the seal
• There are multiple chips or cracks that cannot all be repaired
• The inner layer of the laminated glass has been penetrated
• The damage has caused the glass to shatter or splinter
